NOT ALL MACHINE SHOP FLOORS ARE THE SAME!
When your machine shop floor needs repair, don't settle for the catalog answer. Not all machine shop floors are created equal, so how can you give one answer for all of them. Your machine shop is not producing the same product as the one next door. Your traffic pattern, amount of traffic, condition of floor, weight of product moving over the floor and amount of coolant being tracked will not be the same. In addition, the age of the floor, thickness and construction of the floor is a very important factor. Therefore, you may not get the same result as the machine shop next door is using for floor repair.
At Nor-Mar we want you to get the best product to repair or coat your shop floor. What we recommend for one shop may not work well in another. We have seen all types of floors in machine shops including; wood, concrete, wood block, poly block, wood covered with steel plate and even vinyl and asphalt tile.
